2:40 Quilcene High School Alcohol/Impaired driving discussion
Quilcene school would like to host some sort of event to
educate their students on the harms of alcohol consumption
as well as impaired driving before the end of the school year.
Mock Car crash was suggested. Video clip was presented
featuring a mock crash event hosted at a high school last year
in Monroe, WA

Discussion was held surrounding mock crashes as a strategy
to deter youth driving while impaired.
Holly will reach out to Quilcene High School to research what
strategies the coalition can help fund, as well as encourage
evidence-based prevention education approaches.
2:50 Strategic Planning
Three upcoming workgroups: will schedule several through the
months of May and June. Please attend if you can! These
meetings are key decision-making times for program selection
and grant spending over the next two years.
