2:40 Quilcene SAP update
• Wrapped up Second Step program with 6th and 7th
graders
• Continuing to meet with groups
• Beginning to exit students from services as necessary

2:45 Strategic Planning: Goal revision
• Reviewed goals as they currently exist
• Revised language to better align with coalition mission
and desired outcomes within the communities
• Goal #4 still undefined- coalition wanted to add a goal
specifically addressing bringing prosocial activities to
young people. Separate email will come shortly with
proposed drafts

3:00 Upcoming Events/community updates
• Reviewed the scope of the REAL team- they are able to
take non-crisis referrals for individuals of all ages.
• This week is teacher appreciation week at Quilcene
Schools
• May 16: Wildfire preparedness course
• May 18: Hiking Class at Brinnon Community Center
• May 27-28: Hood Canal Fjord Fest in Brinnon. The
coalition will have a booth to promote prevention efforts
and coalition presence in south county.
