The spirit of it doesn't have to be, though. First, I'd like to say thank you to our supporters who gave to us during GiveBIG. 23 people stepped up and gave a total of $7,335 to the WWRC. If you've read my recent emails, you may remember that over the past two years, every dollar given to the Coalition is leveraged into $120 for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program. I pulled out my calculator- $7,335 leveraged 120 times means GiveBIG donors just gave $880,200 to Washington's outdoors. That is absolutely incredible! That's nearly a million dollars for our forests, for our parks, for our grasslands, for our rivers and ponds, for our neighbors, for our children. This email is going out to over 3000 people who care about the outdoors. If just 23 people can leverage nearly a million dollars in outdoors funding, imagine what we can all do together.
