I’ve received your comment and added it to our ICG comments folder for their upcoming meeting on May 25, 2023, since that is where you submitted your comment. The ICG is comprised of
Jefferson County, the City of Port Townsend, Port of Port Townsend and the PUD.
You had asked if the ICG would be an appropriate venue for your comment, and I believe that since your specific issue is with Jefferson County’s DCD department, your comment may be best
addressed through the County Commissioners. Their next regular meeting will be held on May 22, 2023. I will forward your comment to jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us <mailto:jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us>
so that your comment will be viewable by our Commissioners in advance of that meeting. Please let me know if you’d like the meeting link/info for that meeting and I’d be happy to get
that to you.

Dear Commissioners:
I would like to express, in person, my frustration with permitting at DCD.
If the IGC meeting is not an appropriate venue, I will attend your regular June 5 meeting.
This permit is for my client Shawn Behrenfeld.
He wants to install underground power and improve an existing private road on Commercial Forest land off Oak Bay Road.
The application was submitted October 11, 2022.
Eight months later it is still not completed.
