MRSC has posted some initial thoughts on this bill on their website and will publish a more detailed analysis next week. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, counties are devoting additional resources toward first responders’ mental health to help them deal with struggles like post-traumatic stress disorder. Santa Clara County, Calif. is taking an extra step, expanding services for all employees through a partnership with Concern Health. PFAS, the shorthand term for the thousands of chemicals included in this group, are harmful human-made chemicals that don’t break down in the environment or the human body.
