June 3rd 1-4pm Ages 7-11 Free! Salmon Center: 600 NE Roessel Rd. Belfair WA. 98528 Kids will explore the Farm at Water’s Edge, gain hands-on understanding of how to grow their own food, and participate in fun activities about nutrition and local food systems. They’ll also get to dig through a worm bin composting system, make pickles with vegetables they harvest from our gardens, and plant vegetables in containers to take home! – Participation is limited to 16 kids – This session is available for free with an optional donation. – Please have your child dress according to the weather. Close toed shoes and sun protection are required. Come prepared so that we can have fun outside!
