Hello Anti-racist Literacy Workshop Participants,
I hope this email finds you well. The next series of workshops will begin on Wednesday, June 7th, and Friday, June 9th. Both workshops are from 10 am to 12 pm every other week until
September 13th and 15th.
We look forward to working with you this Summer and want to provide the best anti-racist learning experience we can during that time. We know that this can be uncomfortable and scary
for some people as many of us do not have conversations about racial equity on a regular basis.
Many of you have not completed the Workshop Intake Form <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdF-l5WFVT-E5okObh-ElXaF5Wi1ZGYVhH8DENFJPH7GIatLw/viewform?usp=sf_link> as we requested.
It usually takes 5 minutes or less to complete this form. This form provides space for you to ask questions, share your concerns, share your needs, and accept the agreements we use
in the workshop space. If you have trouble accessing this form and need assistance completing it, please let me know. We ask that you complete this form as soon as possible so we can
respond to questions, address your needs, and confirm your participation in the workshop.
JC Public Health has budgeted for make-up sessions for those of you who may need to miss a workshop. We hope this will not be a common occurrence, but wanted to let you know that the
contract with Usawa Consulting provides support for those of you who need this extra service.
If you missed my previous email with the Zoom links, syllabus (with dates and subjects for each session), and homework for the first session, please let me know and I will send it again.
