Application due June 16th Climate Resiliency Youth Intenship July 10 - August 25 The Washington State Department of Resources and The Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group are partnering to offer this Climate Resilience Youth Internship Opportunity. This program is intended to expose high school youth, particularly those from among the most vulnerable climate disaster communities in Washington to the fundamentals of climate science through hands-on experience with scientific monitoring and field data collection. This opportunity is open to high school juniors, seniors or recent graduates interested in gaining experience in climate and environmental science. Students will join HCSEG and DNR at various locations around the Hood Canal watershed to conduct monitoring, field surveys and research studies.
