March is National Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, (I/DD) Awareness Month. Rather than convening a regular
DDAB meeting, the Jefferson County DD Advisory Board and DD Program are celebrating, by sponsoring our
Second I/DD Awareness and Education Panel.
This Panel will focus on disability groups, agencies and resources designed for people who experience
Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in Jefferson County. We want to raise awareness about people who
experience I/DD, while educating and sharing disability resources in Jefferson County.

2. Presenters for the Second-I/DD Awareness Panel
Introductions- Kim Rafferty/Parent & DDAB Member and Anna Mc Enery/ DD Coordinator –
I will introduce you by saying your name and title. Then you will have 5 to 10 minutes to give an overview of your program, talk
about the services you provide and to answer any questions. (Think about what you would want individuals or agencies in
Jefferson County to know, if they didn’t know anything about the services you provide.) I will let you know when 5-minutes has
passed, then 8-minutes and then time.
