Thank you for taking comments prior to your Board Special Meeting in Port Ludlow.
1. My wife and I do 98% of our shopping in Kitsap County; mostly in Poulsbo and Silverdale. Jefferson County is missing out on sales tax etc. Costco, Home Depot, Walmart, Central Market,
and Vallely Nursery are just some of the stores we frequent.
2. We do not live in the South Bay or North Bay but do live at Tala Point. We belong to the South Bay Community Center as associate members. Most of our activity there is utilizing the
fitness center. For such a small community, from an outsider's point of view, it seems ridiculous that there are two community centers, both struggling in their own ways instead of
one community center for the entire Port Ludlow and environs. Also, there is no dog park, no car wash, no public boat ramp, no park......
We do utilize some of the services at the Port Ludlow Village Center but it is like driving in war torn Ukraine! Why haven't the streets been repaved? Considering the taxes that we pay,
we ought to get something in return.
3. Our neighborhood is on a 1 mile long private road. Our internet comes from CentryLink which is not the most reliable source. What can you do to help us join the 21st century internet
technology?
4. Can you talk to WA DOT about NOT closing down the Hood Canal Bridge so many times at inopportune times. We understand and fully support the subs BUT to have to wait for a sail boat
to go through is galling!
