First, an offshore wind development announced plans for an advanced component manufacturing facility to be located in south Baltimore. This will bring over 120 union jobs and add to Maryland's buildout of business in the offshore wind supply chain. Second, the governor signed an offshore wind bill which pledges Maryland to the goal of eight gigawatts of offshore wind.
