Curious about the JCARF CSA? Read this:
Every week during the growing season, our CSA coordinator Corey curates the JCARF CSA shares with a mix of donated items from local farms and products purchased from PGM farmers and
food producers. This is a reparations project, meant to support and uplift the People of the Global Majority in our community as a response to the impacts of structural racism.
The CSA is JCARF's most loved project, and we are deeply committed to continuing and growing our capacity.
This year was set to be our biggest year yet, but we've faced some setbacks. Our main veggie contributor, Goosefoot Farm, lost a significant amount of funding and may not be able to
continue production through the growing season. Confronted with the possibility of having to cut our shares in half this year, we've decided to work together with them to raise awareness
and funding.
