Hello Commissioner Dean - We understand that the mud drags will be on the agenda at tonight's Fairgrounds Board meeting. I'm unable to attend due to a previously scheduled family gathering,
but please be assured that we believe that any mud drag activity at the Fairgrounds is not permissible and environmentally irresponsible. As a county resident, taxpayer, and voter,
I want to go on record as vehemently opposing the approval of any mud bog activities at the Fairgrounds.
My wife and I have been sick, and we had a death in our immediate family, but please do not mistake our recent silence for lack of interest and concern in this matter. We are still very
concerned about the future of the Fairgrounds for the benefit of all county residents.
We repeat our call for a long-range plan for the Fairgrounds. We also repeat our offer to assist in exploring and writing grants to find other ways to generate revenue at the Fairgrounds.
