This year the Washington State Arts Commission has chosen Port Townsend to host the annual Creative District Convening. On June 28th & 29th, approximately 60 people from across WA state will be visiting our Creative District which includes Downtown, Uptown & Fort Worden. THING Festival is returning to Historic Fort Worden on August 25th – 27th and we’d love to partner with you on a FREE local business promotion to help promote sales at your stores this summer, along with the festival! During the month of July, we’re encouraging each Port Townsend historic districts’ business to create a THING display in-store and select a piece of merchandise that they’d like to promote as the “qualifying item” in our promotion.
