SUBJECT: Request to reappoint David Wilkinson to serve a third 4-year term on the
Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee representing
District 1 through May 18,2027.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint David Wilkinson to serve a third 4-year
term on the Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee District 1 through May 18,2027.
ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and COWS:
A District 1 vacancy on the CF Committee was advertised in The Leader on April 19 and 26,2023. Mr.
Wilkinson responded to the ad prior to the May 17,2023 deadline.Mr. Wilkinson has served consistently
and admirably on the committee since May of 2015,and his reappointment would help maintain continuity
and a high level of relevant expertise within the program. Mr. Wilkinson's background is with the Oregon
Department of Agriculture and the Soil and Water Conservation District.
FISCAL]MPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact to the county's General Fund for reappointing Mr. Wilkinson to a third 4-year
term on the CF Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint David Wilkinson to serve a third 4-year
term on the Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee District 1 through May 18,2027.
