Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ Dear Commissioners: I'm sending you this invitation to attend a 4-hour Home Firearms Safety course that I teach at the JCSA range on July 2nd, or October 8th or December 3rd Because it is essential that our elected officials have a solid understanding of firearms use and safety so as to make appropriate decisions regarding their use in our County. It is essential that our elected officials at all levels of government be given an opportunity to learn about firearms in general and methods of safe gun handling and safe storage of firearms. There are many useful advantages to understanding how firearms operate and their various lawful uses of the tools. The class is ideal for those who own firearms and have children, or who are anxious about firearms and would like to reduce the fear through knowledge and the development of a positive attitude about firearms safety. This course is normally $50 + a $15 range use fee for non-JCSA members BUT I am offering each of you a special discount for registering for any of the above course dates. For each County Commissioner that enrolls in any of the above classes, the fees are waived. I have attached my schedule for the rest of the year along with the registration form and waiver you will use for planning and enrollment. Send the forms back to me and I will get you enrolled. All you need for this class is some note-taking stuff and a sack lunch. Class starts at 10 am and finishes about 2 pm on each of the Sundays mentioned above. Education, training, and practice are the basic ingredients of success in any endeavor. This course will help you better understand the importance of promoting the same concepts for those who choose to own and use firearms for recreation, hunting and personal protection. I hope that you will consider my offer and attend one of the classes. John Ebner, NRA Instructor 360-385-3652
