I just want to say thank you for your continued support of the 4-H
Program here in Jefferson County. Not all county 4-H Programs are so
fortunate. I have been a 4-H volunteer and 4-H club leader for 30 years
and have had dozens and dozens of wonderful Jefferson County youth go
thru my club, Paws-N-Claws, many of whom, as 4-H alumni are still
active leading, judging and teaching. We have also been so fortunate to
have amazing 4-H Coordinators leading our county 4-H Program. And while
there is focus currently to fill that position soon, we have greatly
benefited from now-retired Su Tipton's and Interim Director Bridget
Gregg's patience and guidance.
AND thank you for your ongoing support for the Jefferson County Fair.
As 4-H club leaders and volunteers we are more often than not County
Fair volunteers. We know that it is important that our County Fair be
a safe and caring place for our 4-Hers to show and exhibit as they
qualify to represent Jefferson County at the State 4-H Fair every September.
