As you know, WDFW owns and manages a diverse portfolio of lands across the state to address a wide range of both fish and wildlife and recreational needs of Washington Citizens. Acquisition projects are generally recommended by our local staff often with input from partner organizations and local governments. The process we are currently in is to preliminary to seek any funds or enter into any formal negotiations with landowners and is to measure the project benefits and support for these projects. Please be aware that we only entertain acquisition projects with willing landowners. We are wanting you to have early awareness of this and to hear from you if you have any questions or concerns related to these opportunities. Please see the attached information for the project and let me know if you have any early questions or comments. Respectfully, Chris Conklin Region 6 Director Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Cell 360-591-4571
