STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT re: Solid Waste Advisory Committee(SWAC);Unexpired Term to
End October 12, 2023, District No.2, Citizen Representative, Stephen Chappuis
ANALYSIS:
Al Cairns, Solid Waste Advisory Committee Coordinator forwarded the attached letter requesting
appointment from Mr. Stephen Chappuis. This request is to be appointed to the Citizen—District No. 2
Representative Vacancy. This position has an unexpired term end date of October 12, 023. When Mr.
Chappuis serves to that date, he may be reappointed for a full two-year term. Mr. Cairns highly recommends
this appointment of Mr. Chappuis to Jefferson County Solid Waste Advisory Committee(SWAC)as he meets
the needed criteria to fill this vacancy and appreciates all members of this board and their contribution.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Advisory Board Appointment of Solid Waste Advisory Committee(SWAC);Unexpired Term to
End October 12, 2023, District No.2, Citizen Representative, Stephen Chappuis.
