We hope this email finds everyone having enjoyed the recent holidays, surviving the summer heat and looking forward to the coming fall.
This email is to update you on progress with the Brinnon Sewer/Septic project (meeting next Monday – see below), as well as let all interested Brinnon residents know about the next Dosewallips
River Collaborative Meeting (see below).
Any Brinnon residents living along or near the Dosewallips River should be paying attention to what the collaborative is working on. Attending their meetings would be the best way to
stay informed. Below is a link to the county website regarding this project. If there is interest, we are considering adding a Town Hall event specifically focused on this project and
the impact it could have on Brinnon.
We are interested in hearing from any South County residents regarding a specific topic of concern that the community should be aware of and understand any impact the County, State and
Federal organizations may have on our small communities in South County.
As most know and understand, unless we stay informed and engaged things will happen, as they already have, without any community knowledge or input.

Dosewallips River Collaborative Meeting
To All Interested Parties:
Please Save the Date! Meetings of the Dosewallips River Collaborative (DRC) will resume on Wednesday, July 26th 9-10 am (online or in person). An Outlook meeting invite will follow this
email that includes the online meeting link. The in-person location and an agenda will be distributed about a week in advance. Please let me know if you’d like me to invite others to
join this list, or if you have any questions.
The DRC is a watershed information exchange and advisory group pertaining to Dosewallips River floodplain resiliency and restoration projects, especially those sponsored by Jefferson
County. The July meeting will provide project status updates (we most recently met in February 2022). We’ll also discuss dates and times for future DRC meetings. Please let me know
if you have any items for this or future agendas.
