Dr. Kendall Cortelyou, Ph.D., is the National Data Advisor for Project Opioid USA. Her research interests include substance use disorder, with a special focus on opioid use disorder
and the changing nature of the opioid epidemic. She believes that patients and families should be at the center of the solution to this escalating crisis. She also studies the use of
health information technology to engage patients and increase health literacy.
Dr. Cortelyou holds an M.S. in Health Services Administration and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Health Services Management from the School of Global Health Management and Informatics
at the University of Central Florida.
