Hello!
The Washington State Attorney General’s Office of Military and Veteran Legal Assistance (OMVLA) is conducting a survey about the civil (non-criminal) legal needs of the military and
veteran community in Washington. The military and veteran community includes veterans, service members, and their families. This email is being sent to community providers, including
libraries, county veteran funds, housing providers and shelters, and dozens of other nonprofits and social service providers. We are also sending the survey to approximately 600 other
organizations statewide. In 2024, we will send another survey directly to members of the community. Our goal is to identify unmet civil legal needs so that the justice system can deliver
services more effectively to Washington’s military and veteran community.

Often, community members ask for help with legal questions or problems from non-legal organizations, and we value your input about what you are seeing and hearing in your local community.
We would be very grateful if you would:
1. Take about 15 minutes of your time to fill out the survey, and/or
2. Forward the link or this email to your colleagues, other local agencies or organizations, or other departments within your agency or organization that may be able to provide
us with helpful information.
We welcome survey responses from multiple staff members at your organization or agency. The survey is designed to be answered without review of any data or records and is fully anonymous.
