Hello,
I would like to congratulate the BOCC on moving the Port Hadlock Sewer forward into reality.
I can visually see progress on the infiltration ponds from my property.
One issue has not been addressed as yet. When will the property owners get to utilize the zoning for the Port Hadlock UGA?
As can be seen regarding planning and permitting for the sewer, it can take some time to plan and permit let along construct.
Many of the property owners would like to start planning and permitting.
When is the sewer considered to be "available?" When can we start applying for permits under JCC 18.18?
JCC18.18 says "Jefferson County will apply urban standards to parcels where sewer is available. When sewer service is available, refer to this chapter."
It is not at all clear when sewer is considered available or when the DCD will start accepting permits under 18.18.
Can the BOCC provide some guidance?
