As such,Jefferson and Clallam County Commissioners are hoping to reach agreement on a strategy for advancing one regional application. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no additional fiscal impact, unless the BOCC decides to fund an entity or consultant to prepare a grant application for the region. RECOMMENDATION: Participate in the briefing and bring questions and comments regarding opportunities for collaboration in workforce development and support services to increase prime-age employment on the North Olympic Peninsula. Different communities need different investments to address joblessness. The local community and labor markets eligibility is meant to ensure the Recompete program addresses different local workforce needs. 1. Local Labor Market 2.
