With summer in full swing, so is our agency <https://t.e2ma.net/click/hhz7qk/18hk51mb/dmgpyqc> and public works departments across the state as they take advantage of the long days and good weather to complete road improvement projects before the fall rains set in. Our agency has funded a number of those projects breaking ground this year, including twelve (to date) through our Rural Arterial Program <https://t.e2ma.net/click/hhz7qk/18hk51mb/tehpyqc> . RAP supports a variety of project types including resurfacing and restoration (2R projects), rehabilitation (3R projects), and full reconstruction (RC projects). All strengthen the county road system and extend the life of existing roads by providing much needed preservation and safety improvements.
