STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Advisory Board Appointment re: Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC); Unexpired Term Expires,July
23, 2024; Tara McCauley, Jefferson County Historical Society
ANALYSIS:
Tara McCauley Interim Executive Director of Jefferson County Historical Society has indicated interest in
serving on the LTAC as a replacement for Shelly Leavens who resigned in May of 2023. Jefferson County
Historical Society has a museum showing Jefferson County's rich history as well as offers programs and
resources to educate anyone interested.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
RECOMMENDATION•
Approve Advisory Board Appointment; Lodging Tax Advisory Council; Unexpired Term Expires, July 23,
2024; Tara McCauley,Jefferson County Historical Society. This position was published in the Port
Townsend Leader on July 5, 2023, and the LTAC web page.
