Subject: Parks and Recreation Basketball Camp Photo from Today
Team,
Over 100 children ages 5 to 14 from the entire E. County are participating in our basketball camp at Blue Heron Middle School this week, a record number.
The program is organized and led by Chris Macklin and staffed by basketball coaches and players from our local high schools who generously volunteer their time.
While this program is small and short compared to our youth sports leagues, there is something special about seeing all these kids, learning, growing, and having fun in the height of
summer. Great job Chris and Volunteers!
