To better serve our customers, with support from Governor Inslee and the legislature, WSF is moving forward with a systemwide passenger demographic study. The study, to be submitted to the legislature in December, will allow us to better understand the needs and travel patterns of our customers and Washingtonians living in ferry-served communities. To collect data informing the study, this summer WSF is conducting an online survey <http://www.wsf23.com/> to learn more about the communities we serve, versions of which are available in both English and Spanish. It is also available by phone (English at 877-586-1133; Spanish at 833-716-0236). We’d appreciate you sharing the survey <http://www.wsf23.com/> with your constituents, encouraging them to complete it in either English <http://www.wsf23.com/> or Spanish <http://www.wsf23.com/es> . WSF studies changing trends in customer travel patterns about every seven to 10 years, completing its most recent Origin-Destination Study <https://wsdot.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2021-10/WSF-2013Or iginDestinationSurvey-FullReport.pdf> (OD) in 2013. This demographic study is the first step in a comprehensive updating of the 2013 O-D study. Please reach out with any questions about the study. Best, John John B.
