HomeMy WebLinkAboutFleet Services Division JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WORKSHOP AGENDA REQUEST TO: Board of County Commissioners Mark McCauley, County Administrator FROM: Chris Goy, Central Services Director/Deputy County Administrator DATE: August 7,2023 SUBJECT: Workshop: Fleet Services Division/Equipment Rental & Revolving(ER&R) Fund Management Overview STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board of County Commissioners requested a workshop to provide a general update and overview of the operations and management of the Central Services Department—Fleet Services Division,also commonly referred to as the Equipment Rental and Revolving(ER&R) Fund. ANALYSIS: The Jefferson County Central Services Department oversees Jefferson County's Fleet Services Division and ER&R Fund which provides for the purchase, operation and replacement of fleet assets and for the purchase of commodities used by the Public Works Road Maintenance Division. The Central Services Department and Fleet Services Manager will brief the Board on division operations. FISCAL IMPACT• None.
