Veterans shall be accorded a credit as provided by RCW 41.04.010 (see attached)
In order to be eligible, you must be a ‘Veteran’ as defined in RCW 04.005 and claim preference
within eight years of the date of release from active service.
I hereby certify that I am a Veteran as defined in RCW 41.04.005.
A copy of my DD214 accompanies this form.

Service (available for First Promotional Exam Only)
