Thank you for the leer of noficaon of the Departm ent of Commerce grant award for 142 Mill Road, Port Townsend,
WA to OlyCap. OlyCap is proposing to construct a homeless shelter at the idenfied locaon and no exis ng structures
will be affected. The lack of affordable housing remains one of the greatest concerns for the City of Port Townsend and
Jefferson County Washington. The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe agrees with the Depart of Archaeology and Historic
Preservaon that no historic properes will be affec ted by the acquision of the exisng property. Plea se advise the
Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe should rehabilitaon acv ies change and that ground disturbing acons occur . My contact

I am wring on behalf of OlyCAP who is proposing to construct a homeless shelter outside of Port Townsend, WA. We
are consulng with the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe as a part of EO 21-02 at the following locaon:
Site address: 142 Mill Road, Port Townsend, WA 98326
Site Parcel: 001152001
WA Department of Archaeology and Historic Preserva on has already been consulted and has provided a noficaon of
non-significance. No exisng structures will be disturbed as a result of the proposed development. I have also sent a
physical copy of the aached leers to the Tribal a ddress. Please let me know if you have any quesons or need any
addional informaon.
