The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office is requesting public comments on proposed changes to grant evaluation criteria in six recreation focused grant programs, including:
* Aquatic Lands Enhancement Account
* Land and Water Conservation Fund
* Youth Athletic Facilities
* Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program
* Local Parks
* Trails
* Water Access
The changes aim to prioritize projects in underinvested communities, close gaps in access to outdoor recreation opportunities, and better reward collaborative projects.
