To date, we have together permanently preserved 25 local farms and proceeds from past Harvest Dinner’s were instrumental in conserving these lands that define this place! Today, while pressures threaten remaining local farmland we’re excited to share that the pace of farmland conservation in Clallam County is accelerating <https://northolympiclandtrust.us3.list-manage .com/track/click?u=2a560412753cc77f18a4d65b4&id=824f5c2d3f&e=e371357277> ! We are thrilled to bring back this celebration in a new form! Please join us out on the land at the Historic Cline-Bigelow Barn, now known as the Holladay Barn after the owners that lovingly care for it. This area just south of Cline Spit has a rich history agricultural history, including its refurbished 1934 barn. <https://northolympiclandtrust.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2a560412753cc77f18a4d65b4&id=810cefe8a2&e=e371357277> This special afternoon is dedicated to raising funds to support local farmland conservation. Mingle and catch up with friends old and new, hear about local land issues, and learn about what's happening on local farms. Together we'll enjoy the abundance of our region through a buffet of locally sourced foods prepared by chef John Pabst of Pacific Pantry along with a hand-picked selection of local beer and wine. In recognition of those who tirelessly steward the land and nourish the community, we’ll culminate our gathering by honoring the 2023 Farmer of the Year. We encourage you to nominate your favorite farmer and share stories about their impact here <https://northolympiclandtrust.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2a560412753cc77f18a4d65b4&id=ae89b28935&e=e371357277> .
