DOR August 2023 sales tax to be received at month end
• Regular & Optional Sales Tax is 2% over budget for the
year and 7.6% over 2022YTD.
• Hotel-Motel-Transient is 65% over budget YTD and 23% over 2022YTD. Current projection is $425k
over budget.
• 3rd Quarter Forest Tax (TAV) is $493,853. This distribution fulfills priorities 1,2,3 and 4. $103,700 of
this goes to the County General fund.
