STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Advisory Board Resignation re: Jefferson County Planning Commission; District 2 Representative,
Lorna Smith.
ANALYSIS:
Notice was received of Ms. Smith giving notification she must resign from the Planning Commission
due to her appointment to the Washington State,Fish and Wildlife Commission. She noted her
resignation from the Jefferson County Planning Commission would be effective August 10, 2023.
Ms. Smith was first appointed to the Planning Commission in 2014, and she has served consecutively
since that time. The Planning Commission wishes her well in her new endeavors and her past
contributions are appreciated.
RECOMMENDATION:
Accept the Advisory Board Resignation re: Jefferson County Planning Commission; District 2
Representative, Lorna Smith.
