HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 072423 ON c0G _ < DRAFT �9SHING�0 MINUTES Regular Meeting — July 24, 2023, 9:00 a.m. Jefferson County Courthouse—Commissioners' Chambers 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA (Hybrid) CALL TO ORDER: Chair Greg Brotherton, Commissioner Kate Dean and Commissioner Heidi Eisenhour participated in the meeting. Chair Brotherton called the meeting to order at the appointed time. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Brotherton called for public comments, and no were received. APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA: County Administrator Mark McCauley and Treasurer Stacie Prada were present to speak to the underwriter services for the Port Hadlock Sewer Project(Consent Agenda Item No. 1). After discussion, Commissioner Dean moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Commissioner Eisenhour seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. 1. AGREEMENT re: Underwriter Services for Port Hadlock Sewer Project; Not to Exceed $35,000; Treasurer's Office; D.A. Davidson& Co. 2. AGREEMENT re: Supporting Supervision for Moderate/High Risk Court-Involved Youth; Consolidated Contract(Bridge); Juvenile Services; Department of Children Youth and Families 3. AGREEMENT re: Evidence Based Expansion Program for Family Functional Therapy; Juvenile Services; Department of Children Youth and Families 4. AGREEMENT re: Community Navigator Assessment; In the Amount of$42,000; Public Health; VillageReach 5. AGREEMENT re: Quilcene School District for Human Growth and Development HIV/AIDS Education; In the Amount of$6,110.30; Public Health; Quilcene School District 6. AGREEMENT re: General Terms and Conditions; County Administrator; Washington State Department of Social and Health Services 7. AGREEMENT re: Prevention and Promotion Services; In the Amount of$1,710,000; Public Health; Washington Health Care Authority 8. AGREEMENT re: Pollution Prevention Assistance; In the Amount of$265,143.63; Public Health; Washington State Department of Ecology 9. Payment of Jefferson County Payroll Warrants Dated July 20, 2023 Totaling$88,860.87 18. Payment of Jefferson County Vouchers/Warrants Dated July 17, 2023 Totaling $1,403,560.80 COMMISSIONERS' BRIEFING SESSION: The Commissioners and County Administrator discussed recent meetings they attended, miscellaneous topics, Port Hadlock Sewer Project, and reviewed upcoming meetings. ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION ITEMS: The Commissioners and County Administrator reviewed the following: • North Olympic Legislative Alliance (NOLA); future request is coming forward • Board and Committee Vacancies NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Chair Brotherton adjourned the meeting at 10:56 a.m. until the next regular meeting or special meeting as properly noticed.
