Like many other Jeffco residents (and tax payers) I've just learned today that our animal shelter on Jacob Miller Rd receives no support at all from the county, and instead treats the
wonderful facility, and I assume, volunteer staff as some sort of for-profit business.
Please reconsider the facility's status. We hear that the numbers of homeless pets have set new records in recent years. Please consider this asset as worthy of every possible community
(county) support!
