The County, in collaboration with EJCF&R and other stakeholders, is developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). Jefferson County is one of the few remaining counties in the
state that does not have a CWPP.
A large part of this planning effort is identifying communities within Jefferson County that are at risk from wildfire. They have asked for the community’s input by taking a survey
that will help produce a plan that reflects the needs of the community.
