HomeMy WebLinkAbout090123 Jefferson County Human SocietyAs in the subject line this is a county facility and the Humane Society should not be charged rent for taking care of ALL the county animals that end up there. It is staffed by volunteers.
How can you possibly think it is humane or even morally right to charge rent and insist that county workers fix the building and charge for that? This needs to be addressed right away.
You are a not for profit county or do I have that wrong.
If you need to put it to a vote I suggest you do that and let the people in Jefferson County decide. Do something about this asap.
My husband and I donate funds and food to them all the time. I suggest the county do the same by not charging rent or to fix their own building. This is absurd.
