Parcel 001162001; Section 16, T 30, R 01 West, WM. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND REQUIRED PERMITS/STUDIES: New 50-bed emergency shelter and a 40-lot park consisting of tiny shelters and recreational vehicles for individuals experiencing housing insecurity. The shelter includes permanent supportive housing, shelter beds, single room occupancies, restrooms, showers, common kitchen, living areas, reception, and offices. The 40-lot park includes commons building, mobile sanitation unit with showers and toilets, and an onsite office. Caswell-Brown Village refers to the combined shelter and 40-lot park for low- income households/individuals without secure housing and/or who are unsheltered. During weather- related emergencies, Caswell-Brown Village is designed with landscaping, lighting, and flexible space to accommodate up to 150 individuals. The Examiner directed Staff to post a link to the recording for the public hearing, so any individuals who were unable to sign-in can watch the full hearing and submit written comments they might have regarding the pending application for a Conditional Use Permit.
