ISSUE:
STATEMENT OF
Jefferson County Public Health, (JCPH), the Developmental Disabilities Program; is requesting Board approval
of a Professional Services Agreement with Trinity United Methodist Church; in Jefferson County, Washington;
August 21, 2023 — August 21, 2024; $5,678.52.
ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PROS and CONS:
This agreement is between JCPH, the Developmental Disabilities Program; and Trinity United Methodist
Church; is to create additional ADA accessibility at the church for their congregation and community members,
of all ages, with physical challenges; so, they can access both levels of the church building; in Jefferson
County, Washington.
Trinity United Methodist Church will:
i. Purchase and install an accessible, electrified system for the main entry of Trinity United Methodist
Church.
ii. Change out hardware on some of the older, original church doors to lever-style, by purchasing seven
new lever-style door handles.
iii. Replace older infant-changing tables with new accessible installations, by purchasing two wall-mounted
infant changing tables and installing them in two accessible restrooms.

FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
Funding for the Professional Services Agreement is from an Accessible Community Advisory Committee
(ACAC) Grant; designated from the Governor's Committee on Disability and Employment of Washington State.
RECOMMENDATION:
JCPH, the Developmental Disabilities Program; is requesting Board approval of a Professional Services
Agreement with Trinity United Methodist Church; in Jefferson County, Washington; August 21, 2023 —August
21, 2024; $5,678.52.
