Hello Commissioners, I had the pleasure of talking to Heidi at the Chimacum Farmers Market about the upcoming conversation about the DNR parcel by Anderson Lake. I will be at the meeting, but I wanted to share with you all these very two, two-frame-satellite-image PDFs of the Chimacum Valley, from 2016 to 2023. In the natural color satellite images, you can see the drastic change as logging increased from 2016-2023. In the moisture index images, you can see the red, orange, and yellow areas that represent areas with no vegetative water content…because there are no trees. This time of year seems valuable to have areas that retain moisture, considering the drought. You can see the are very dry areas where logging has occurred. This happens to surround my house on West Valley and makes me anxious I now live in a tinder box. Best, Gabe
