CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
August 27, 2019
Chairman Bob Gebo called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. in the presence of Commissioner Dennis
Cowan, Commissioner Ken Przygocki and Chief Examiner Steve Richmond. Dan Taylor was also in
attendance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Cowan moved to approve the minutes of April 30, 2019 as
presented. Commissioner Przygocki seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
OLD BUSINESS
REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF ELIGIBILITY LISTS AND TESTING SCHEDULES re:
• Administrative Clerk — The Board discussed an upcoming vacancy for this position. The
existing list has three (3) remaining Candidates who will be interviewed for possible
employment offer. The Board will review and set a date to create a new list at a future
meeting.
• Patrol Sergeant — The Board discussed the upcoming test. A date was discussed for the
Oral Board Examination. Chief Examiner Richmond will work with Undersheriff
Pernsteiner to finalize details regarding this exam. An update will be given at a future
meeting regarding the test results.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Przygocki moved to adjourn the meeting at 2:27 p.m.
Commissioner Cowan seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
NEXT MEETING: September 24, 2019 or a Special Meeting if properly noticed pursuant to RCW
