We’re excited to present three moderated panel discussions on themes related to Puget Sound recovery: “Transportation Infrastructure and Restoration,” “Tribes and Treaty Rights,” and
“Putting Federal Funding to Work.” Panelists include federal and state agency leaders, Tribal leaders, and local elected officials.
Transportation and Parking

Dome garage and riding the light rail into downtown. Many regional buses also have stops nearby.
Paid parking is also available until 5pm at the Tacoma Rhodes Center Parking garage at 940 Market Street.
Arrival
This year’s event will take place in the 5th floor conference room of the Rhodes Center’s Broadway Building (950 Broadway) in Tacoma. We’ll have signs posted to guide you from the building
entrances to the room, but directions are also provided below:
From Broadway Street (closest to public transit)
Enter the building through the two sets of double doors at 950 Broadway, next to the Sundance Café. Proceed through the lobby to the elevators in the middle of the atrium. Take the elevators
to the 5th floor. The conference room is around the corner to the right.
From street level on Market Street
Enter the black painted brick building through the double doors at 949 Market, next to the blue sign for Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel. Follow the main corridor to the
left until you reach the elevators on the left. Take the elevators to the 5th floor. Exit the elevators straight along the atrium, then follow the main corridor right and then left
to reach a skybridge to access the Broadway building. You’ll find the 5th floor conference room at the end of this skybridge.
From the Tacoma Rhodes Center Parking garage on Market Street
Take the skybridge from the third floor of the garage, enter the building and follow the main corridor as it doglegs (right, then left, then right, then left) to reach a second skybridge
to access the Broadway building. You’ll find the 5th floor conference room at the end of this second skybridge.

Coffee, tea, and other light refreshments will be provided. Please consider eating lunch prior to your arrival.
Social Hour
After the conclusion of the last panel discussion, Day on the Sound attendees are invited to a no-host social hour at 7 Seas Brewery and Taproom (2101 Jefferson Ave, Tacoma, WA 9840).
7 Seas is a 15–20-minute walk from the Rhodes Center, or 10 minutes via public transit. NOTE: if you park in the Tacoma Rhodes Center Parking garage, please move your car before the
social hour—the garage closes at 5pm.
