Learn more about access to capital and grant opportunities Farmers, and technical service providers who help farmers: listen up. We know the biggest issue facing farmers is money. Whether to buy land, or upgrade your farm's infrastructure, farmers need more of it. Our upcoming Lunch & Learns hope to address that. Next week, on October 18 we have a Lunch & Learn with Jesika Harper from AgWest, presenting on AgVision, AgWest's program for new farmers. The date was wrong on the last email (sorry) October 18 is the correct date. On October 31 (Halloween!) we have a Lunch & Learn with Dirt Capital Partners, a unique firm helping farmers access land through creative financing. Later on in the year, on December 14, Melissa Moeller is back with even more information on the VAPG program, with a full scale workshop. She will be joined by the USDA's Carlotte Dionisi.
