NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE
JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION REGARDING PROPOSED
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT PROPOSALS
ON THE 2023 PRELIMINARY DOCKET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Jefferson County Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, beginning at 5:30 PM at the Tri-Area Community
Center, 10 W. Valley Rd, Chimacum, WA 98325. The purpose of the hearing is to accept public
comment regarding the Suggested Text Amendments to the Jefferson County Comprehensive
Plan and Unified Development Code (UDC) on the 2023 Preliminary Docket.
This will be a hybrid meeting with telephone or on-line options. The public is invited to attend in-
person, with a limit of up to 50 percent of the venue' s capacity pursuant to Resolution 24-22.

A brief summary of the Suggested Amendments follows:
(1) Jefferson County Planning Commission proposal to amend the UDC to include various types of
congregant housing opportunities.
(2) Department of Community Development proposal to make omnibus amendments on Community
Development’s standing amendment list to the UDC to address corrections, clarifications, and
general improvements to the UDC.
