Sunday, October 15th, 7:30pm, The Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1891 S. Jacob Miller Rd., PT - 7:30 pm To say that Claudia Schmidt is simply a performer with a talent to entertain would be a miscarriage of understatement. Schmidt takes her audiences into her world as easily as the child who discovers the endless universes that exist in a cardboard box. From lying on sandy beaches under an endless barrage of northern lights, to the expected anguish and frustration of spinning tires on cars stuck deep in snow, from the age-old struggle of change between adolescence and adulthood to the observation of sheer idiocy, she leaves it to the imagination of her audience to conjure their own images of her storytelling and song. No interpretation of a Claudia Schmidt song or story is wrong – she invites audiences to tie their associations to her style. <https://mcusercontent.com/6df05bfd2eaa0ab6bf92aa5cf/images/bfbccf00-1d9d-a901-c38f-fea8c0647fbb.jpg> MICHAEL FRACASSO & BETTYSOO CO-PRESENTED BY RAINSHADOW RECORDING AND KPTZ Thursday, October 19, 7:30, The Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery Michael Fracasso is a genre-crossing artist incapable of repeating himself. As a kid, Emma dreamed about becoming a professional rock climber. She turned her love of the outdoors and mountains into something more practical. Her love of both brought her to the Pacific Northwest. Now she’s in charge of planning for Port Townsend – a Pacific Northwest gem. Affordable housing; what to do about the golf course; removing the poplar trees on Sims Way and trying to find a solution for our broken streets – these are just some of the issues Emma and her team are studying. Zoning changes lurk at the heart of most issues. Did you know that since April virtually every residential property can legally add two ADUs? And all that bother about off street parking? Nope, that’s gone now! And if you want an ADU that really sets you free, well, tiny houses on wheels are licensed like your car. Forget about most permitting, etc. RHYTHM CONNECTION with host Robert Ambrose Tuesday 1-3pm Rhythm Connection transports listeners to cultures around the world, through incredibly diverse music from the African diaspora.
