The quote is to be based upon the phase 2 100%drawings and specifications. Please refer to the following specification sections,which shall be utilized as minimum requirements for the quote: • Section 409002 Testing and Commissioning • Section 409600 SCADA System Software • Section 409635 Programming Quote to include a construction phase submittal to be submitted from Ovivo through the Contractor. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Change Order #2 adds $438,000.00(plus WSST) to the contract for a master control panel (materials and on-site support). The master control panel will be used to coordinate communications between Ovivo and non-Ovivo provided equipment. Since the bid was submitted, design has been modifided to enhance overall operations of the treatment plant; reduce odors; enhance operation in the future by buffering the effects of low and high flow events; provide emergency power and sludge thickening. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Change Order #2 is for $438,000.00. 100- percent of the funding for this work comes from State Dept. of Commerce revenue that has been dedicated to this project. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board sign Change Order #2 where indicated and return signed change order to Public Works for further processing.
