HomeMy WebLinkAboutEast Jefferson Fire Rescu, Amendment No. 1 re: Fire CARES - 092523 1 - f Cf` - Contract Amendment#1 Between Jefferson County Public Health And East Jefferson Fire Rescue (EJFR) For Fire CARES Program WHEREAS, EJFR(Contractor) and Jefferson County (County) entered into an agreement on April 1, 2023 for Professional Services,to perform the following Project: Provide Fire CARES Program in East Jefferson County through August 31, 2023; and WHEREAS,the parties desire to amend the terms of that agreement; IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. The term of the above-referenced agreement will be extended until October 31, 2023. 2. No additional funding is required beyond those funds previously set aside for this purpose. (� 3. This amendment will extend the period of service through October 31, 2023 ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and CON'S: This agreement between JCPH and EJFR is to provide partial support to the CARES program as needed from April 2023 to October 31, 2023, in an ongoing effort to reduce the incidents and severity of substance use and or mental health disorders, while improving the health status and well-being of Jefferson County residents. FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: This agreement, including Amendment 1, is funded by HRSA award GA1RH39564 (RCORP-I), awarded to JCPH for CHIP, who applied for the grant on behalf of the Jefferson County Behavioral Health Consortium (BHC). There is no fiscal impact.
