As the Olympic Discovery Trail continues to be built and maintained, the Peninsula Trails Coalition needs dedicated volunteers and committed paid workers to provide support.
Below is a list of positions your Board of Directors has determined need to be filled for 2024 to be even more successful than this year!

Volunteer Coordinator - Schedules, coordinates, and recruits volunteers for Peninsula Trails Coalition events and outside events that support the Olympic Discovery Trail. Regularly communicates
with volunteers to ensure placement is a good fit for individuals skills and goals. Maintains files, records, applications, and other data concerning volunteer program.
The PTC has two specific fundraising projects annually that require volunteer assistance:
* Traveler's Journal Presentations - 8- Thursdays evenings in February & March (6 volunteers/night)(over 10 years running these presentations

- A bicycle ride in Sequim to 7 or 8 Lavender Farms. 1,000 riders and ~ 100 volunteers required (this is the 3rd year we have operated the event and already have many volunteers)
In addition the PTC supports the following events with volunteers and receives significant donations from the event organizers:
1. Frosty Moss Run
2. Run the Peninsula (4 events throughout the year)
3. OAT Run
4. Irrigation Festival Run
5. North Olympic Discovery Marathon
6. Joyce Daze
7. Ian's Ride
8. GOAT Run
9. Big Hurt
10. Forever StreamFest
11. PTC Volunteer Celebration
* This position is a paid part-time contract position($18K to $24K annually)
* This is a work from home position.
* Must own & have personal computer skills
* Requires in-person attendance at specific PTC events

The Tour de Lavender is the largest fundraiser for the PTC with over $50K raised in 2023
* Must have working knowledge of Wordpress
* Very part-time - site is built, need to add updates and postings as needed.
* This is a volunteer position.
